Definitely use gloves, put towels down, I also got help rinsing it with a shower head to assure I didn't get it all down my back and shower. After showering, color does still run and color is coming off on my neck but nothing a little rubbing alcohol can't get off. I used the midnight blue and loved how the color turned out and how easy it was to apply.

That being said… I will never purchase this again as the dye transfer after makes it too much hassle. I've done fun colors plenty of time but I have never had this much transfer on skin, clothes, towels for days after. This happens wet and dry! I fully expected to have a blue shower but not blue towels and clothes. Use at your own risk. The color was so bright going on that I thought waiting for 30 minutes what it directed as a maximum would be sufficient for my daughters hair.

It unfortunately washed out except the most blonde parts are soft pink. She was so sad it didn't stick. There's so many negative reviews on this but I loved it. It does stain but comes up easily with bleach! I rinsed my head under the shower spout so it didn't get all over my body. The color is so bright and I really like it. I bought this brand for the first time. I was looking for kind of a Kelly green color and the alpine green was perfect. I love that it's a thick paste and even with my hair past my shoulders a couple of inches, I had some leftover. I didn't use the petroleum jelly like I should have and it did stain but with some shampoo and conditioner on the skin, most of it came off. The smell was pleasant.

It definitely took me a long time to cover all of my hair but I didn't want to miss spots. After I put the color in my hair, it was easy to comb through. I use to love the alpine green with a small amount of ebony to make the perfect dark green hair color. Even when dry it stains all too but it's a great product. I bought this on sale not even reading any reviews My body, my bath tub, my clothes. I have never used a hair dye that stained this bad!

I got the cherry color and everything is literally neon pink!!! I looked like a troll getting out the shower. Pretty color but not worth the pain of staining everything i own. I have washed my hair several times and my hands are still blue and everything is blue from this! I have gotten other colors in this brand and loved them but this is just the worst hair color I have ever used I would rather use splat over this! This dye easily stains and I'm not talking about during the process.

It was easy enough to apply and nice you could use the container it came in. My neck is literally purple from my hair just being down. However I will say it is a beautiful color.
