Can you paint gyprock
Absolutely CANT paint hard plaster straight after its finished. Good luck. There is some for exposed plaster and some for on paper. Go for the toughest you can get, better pay a few more bucks than ruining it all and pay way more to fix it.
The undercoat, then 2 layers top coat. Oil based takes longer to dry, too. But compared you having to do it again sooner, worth the waiting. Gyprock lifter By nww in forum Plastering. Page 1 of 1 4 replies. We're getting ready to paint this weekend. We have fresh plasterboard everywhere and are going to go around and mask everything and spray to get it all done super quick and hopefully nicely.
Just a quick question though - the plasterers were really dusty and I have to go through and sweep and vacuum everywhere first. There is a dusty film on the walls as well - am I better off just vacuuming the walls as well as the floor or can I use a lightly damp cloth to wipe it all down?
